Department Overview TheTradingdepartmentengages in financial market transactions and evaluates investment opportunities in currencies.Itis responsible for the day-to-day management of trades, determining prices and executing Client trades inMonex products (FX Spot, Forwards, Options)in accordance with its regulatory requirements.

Job Overview TheTrading team are responsible for executing client orders in Foreign Exchange products and for executing the firm’s hedge position with banking counterparties.

Traders liaise directly with clients and provide suitableassistancebased on their knowledge of the client and the client’s requirements and execute their orders accordingly.





Tradersmust have the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to undertake their role and uphold the highest standards of integrity.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Ensuringclients aretreatedfairly and dealt withpromptly and in accordance withthe Monex Code of Conduct andcompany policies and regulatoryexpectations (note especiallySpanish regulations, and expectation from theBank of Spain andCNMV);

Liaisingpromptlywith internal and external stakeholdersto ensureclient’s margin positions are suitably managed in line with company policy;

Working closelywith risk and compliance to ensureand maintainaccurate and up-to-dateclientdata;

Ensuringtrades are placed with appropriate counterparties where applicable;

Ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is kept on FXDB.

ATrader is responsible for:

Understanding the market in whichMonexoperates and the factors necessary to undertaketrading services for clients;

Providing support with new product development

Knowing your customer (KYC); ensuring adequate knowledge of their client (KYC) to deliver appropriate and suitable products, services and adviceand support onboarding;

Maintaining a knowledge and understanding of the economic climate andthelikely impact upon Monex and its clients;

Understanding and managing marketrisk, counterpartyriskandtheoperational riskwhich arises from the traders own activity

Executing client orders with integrity,



ensuring high service standards and in accordance with Monexvalues andpolicies;

Executing back-to-back transactions with Banking Counterparties in accordance with Monex policies, respecting market convention and the requirements of counterparties;

Providing training to the sales team regarding MiFID products

Assisting with marketing material for clients regarding MiFID products

Recording and maintaining alltrading activity logs in accordance with Monex policy using Monex approved media;

Identifying andavoidingconflicts of interest;

Maintaining good client relationships built on integrity, trust and the client’s best interests;

Maintaining good Counterparty relationships built on mutual respect;

Liaison with other Monex departments to provide the fullest assistance as required;

Liaison with Sales Staff in order to engender and maintain good client relations and sustainable businesspractices;

Provide input into business development to ensure Monex offers the services clients need and that can be delivered to the highest industry standards.

Client RetentionTeam

Key contact for all Client Retention related queries;

Responsible for analysing historic client data and identifying any potential opportunities to revive dormant client accounts;

Mentors and provides guidance and support to other team members on matters relating to client retention.

Requirements

Fluency in French & English (written and verbal) is essential.

Proficiency in any additional European language would be welcomed and considered an asset.
