SilverBack is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Piping Engineer to support a major industrial project in Huelva, Spain, currently in the final stages of construction and commissioning.

The role will focus on supporting piping activities on site, monitoring installation works, coordinating with contractors and other disciplines, and supporting the project through construction completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Support piping activities during the final stages of construction and commissioning
Monitor piping installation works and site progress
Review P&IDs;, isometric drawings, layouts, and technical documentation
Carry out site inspections and construction walkdowns
Support punch list, mechanical completion, and handover activities
Assist with pre-commissioning activities, including pressure testing and system readiness




Identify construction issues and coordinate their resolution with contractors and relevant disciplines
What We're Looking For
Approximately 3–4 years of experience in Piping or Mechanical Engineering
Previous experience working on construction sites
Experience within industrial, process, petrochemical, refinery, mining, metallurgical, or similar projects is preferred
Good understanding of P&IDs;, piping isometrics, and piping xsgfvud systems
Exposure to construction completion, pre-commissioning, or commissioning activities is advantageous
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
Professional working proficiency in Spanish and English
Candidates based in Huelva or Andalucía are strongly preferred
