SilverBack is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Structural Engineer to support a major industrial project in Huelva, Spain, currently in the final stages of construction and commissioning.

The role will focus on supporting structural works on site, monitoring construction activities, coordinating with contractors and other disciplines, and assisting with construction completion and handover activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Support structural activities during the final stages of construction and project completion
- Monitor structural steel, concrete, foundations, and erection works on site
- Review structural drawings, specifications, and relevant technical documentation
- Carry out site inspections and construction walkdowns
- Monitor construction progress and identify outstanding or non-compliant works
- Support punch list, completion,



and handover activities
- Coordinate the resolution of site and construction issues with contractors and engineering teams

What We’re Looking For

- Approximately 3–4 years of experience in Structural or Civil Engineering
- Previous experience working on construction sites
- Experience within industrial, process, petrochemical, refinery, mining, metallurgical, or similar projects is preferred
- Experience with structural xkdbapo steel, concrete, foundations, and/or erection activities
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
- Professional working proficiency in Spanish and English
- Candidates based in Huelva or Andalucía are strongly preferred
