SilverBack is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Piping Engineer to support a major industrial project in Huelva, Spain, currently in the final stages of construction and commissioning.The role will focus on supporting piping activities on site, monitoring installation works, coordinating with contractors and other disciplines, and supporting the project through construction completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport piping activities during the final stages of construction and commissioningMonitor piping installation works and site progressReview P&IDs, isometric drawings, layouts, and technical documentationCarry out site inspections and construction walkdownsSupport punch list, mechanical completion, and handover activitiesAssist with pre-commissioning activities,



including pressure testing and system readinessIdentify construction issues and coordinate their resolution with contractors and relevant disciplinesWhat We’re Looking ForApproximately 3–4 years of experience in Piping or Mechanical EngineeringPrevious experience working on construction sitesExperience within industrial, process, petrochemical, refinery, mining, metallurgical, or similar projects is preferredGood understanding of P&IDs, piping isometrics, and piping systemsExposure to construction completion, pre-commissioning, or commissioning activities is advantageousDegree in Mechanical Engineering or a related disciplineProfessional working proficiency in Spanish and EnglishCandidates based in Huelva or Andalucía are strongly preferredPackageSite-based in Huelva, Monday to FridayNo rotationAccommodation providedFuel support provided
