Overview In this role you will manage Rover’s datastore platforms (PostgreSQL/MySQL on AWS RDS), ensuring performance and reliability while building self-service automation. You’ll upgrade, monitor, and optimize databases, collaborate with product teams on migrations, and lead initiatives to scale data infrastructure. The role blends hands-on database work with cross-team collaboration to support Rover’s mission of safe, scalable pet care experiences. This is a hybrid Barcelona-based position with regular office collaboration.
