Senior SAM Specialist within Zurich’s global Software Asset Management function, focusing on SAP licensing and optimization. You will drive compliant cost management, data analysis, and negotiation with vendors, shaping best practices for SAM across the organization. You collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement opportunities and mitigate risks in a multi-country portfolio. Provide subject-matter expertise in SAM operations and SAP licensing topics, producing SAP-specific ELPs

Understand SAP licensing concepts, indirect usage rules and product use rights

Utilize SAP4Me and SAP System Measurement Tools (LAW, USSM, self-declaration metrics) to monitor usage

Ensure transparency of software contract costs and fair cost allocation to business units

Lead and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors





Maintain stakeholder community and enable information sharing

Identify and drive initiatives for software-related savings and compliance improvements

Support day-to-day activities of the integral SAM team

Manage complex software contract negotiations and liaise with legal, contracts, and sourcing teams

5+ years of experience managing SAP software portfolios in enterprise environments

Experience negotiating with software vendors and in contract management

Strong understanding of SAP licensing models and optimization opportunities (incl. SAP RISE)

Hands-on experience with SAM and SAP measurement tools

Advanced MS Excel skills; Power Query a plus
