You will design, build, and operate services that power the iCapital platformYou will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and technical partners throughout the development lifecycle. Our service-oriented platform primarily uses Scala, Ruby, and Python, but prior experience with these languages is not required. We value strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to learn new technologiesDesign, build, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-based services and APIsTranslate product and business needs into practical technical solutionsOwn projects from design through production rollout and ongoing supportWrite maintainable code and contribute to technical design decisionsParticipate in code reviews and improve engineering standardsBuild testing, observability, security,



and operational readiness into servicesUse AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve delivery, investigation, and learningQualificationsUnderstanding of cloud application development and distributed systems5+ years experience building or integrating with APIs and backend servicesExperience using AI-assisted development tools to plan work, refine specifications, delegate tasks, and validate implementation qualityKnowledge of relational or NoSQL databases and data modeling8+ years experience with a modern programming language such as Ruby, Scala, Python, Java, or TypeScriptFamiliarity with automated testing, version control, and modern software delivery practicesStrong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
