Overview In this role you will own the data-layer for a large PostgreSQL-based system on Amazon Aurora, ensuring high performance and reliability at enterprise scale. You will balance day-to-day operations with longer automation projects, shaping data models and deployment practices for cross-functional teams. You’ll drive incident responses, improve observability, and turn manual procedures into repeatable automation. This role supports Workato’s mission to orchestrate AI-powered business processes with trust and scale.

ResponsabilidadesOwn day-to-day PostgreSQL operations across production data centers (indexing, query-plan analysis, schema reviews, migrations)Collaborate with application teams on data-model decisions and scaling concernsTune and operate Aurora PostgreSQL (parameter groups, replicas, failover, capacity planning)Maintain and evolve PgBouncer connection poolingAutomate deployments and maintenance (Terraform + Ansible) for upgrades, switchover, and provisioningLead incident response and RCAs for database issues,
