In this role you will help drive health-tech innovation by building scalable Go-based services for a cloud SaaS platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to securely share medical data and improve metabolic health at scale. You’ll work within a modern tech stack to support billions of messages daily and contribute to architecture and tooling that empowers general teams. This is a mission-driven opportunity to shape the direction of a medical device software platform. Design and implement Go services for cloud-based platforms Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop APIs for medical data sharing Partner with InfoSec to design secure solutions Contribute ideas with the data services team Ensure performance, uptime, and scalability with high code quality Contribute to architectural and operational decisions with Architecture team Build internal tooling and APIs to improve efficiency Align existing systems with current architectural goals Create diagrams,



flowcharts and models of solution components Engage in technical planning, design, and peer code reviews Collaborate in an agile team delivering features from development to delivery Stay current with emerging trends and recommend innovations Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant field Software development experience, ideally in Go Willingness to learn new software development languages Strong computer science fundamentals Understanding of OOP and modular, testable code Knowledge of asynchronous messaging and backend processing Understanding of Docker and container orchestration (Docker Swarm, ECS, Kubernetes) Experience with Git in collaborative projects Comfortable working asynchronously with a distributed team proactive ideation continuous learning Go RESTful APIs microservices Go Software Engineer - Cloud - Abbott
