Building on EDA experience and system administration skills, this individual will serve as a key member of an award-winning Electronic Design Automation technical support team committed to providing excellent technical support. They will work directly with internal and external customers to resolve tool issues, partner with account teams to educate users and grow product usage, and create knowledge content for the web-based support portal.Key ResponsibilitiesProactively assist customers to become productive with Xpedition and its related toolsHelp customers achieve project deadlines by providing support by phone, electronic means, or on-siteEngage with existing customers to understand and provide guidance for their PCB design methodologyAssist account teams with struggling customers to overcome challengesInterface with customers and Electronic Board Systems engineering and provide feedback in both directionsRegularly participate in meetings and conference calls with customers,



both internal and externalWork as part of the account team to develop solutions for customer issues and take an active role in communicating these solutions to the customerCapture knowledge for web-based support systems in the form of articles, white papers, and videosProvide proactive customer feedback into product marketing and engineering to drive improvement and future evolution of the product lineActively participate in marketing and sales activities such as workshops and seminarsProvide first-line support for all tools in the Xpedition tool suiteQualificationsBroad knowledge in electrical system designDetailed understanding of PCB design tools such as Xpedition Enterprise, Cadence Allegro, Altium, or similarSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently but collaboratively and to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving product and technical environmentAbility to build strong rapport and credibility with customers' organizations while maintaining an internal network of contactsManage multiple tasks and customer issues concurrentlyStrong technical communication skills and presentation skillsWillingness and ability to travelProficiency in English and Spanish languagePreferred QualificationsDetailed knowledge of the Siemens Xpedition Enterprise and EDM tool suiteFamiliarity with scripting languages such as Python and C#Strong project management and communication skills - both written and verbal; prior project management experience is a plusProficiency in other languages common in the EUWhy UsWe are Siemens: At Siemens Software, flexibility is how we work-hybrid by default, built on trust and autonomy.
