As Senior Manager - Master Data Management, you will play a key role in ensuring Symrise's master data is well-governed, reliable, and aligned with enterprise-wide data and AI governance standards. You will lead initiatives that improve master data quality, support efficient consolidation and access processes, and drive adoption across business domains. This role combines strategic leadership, governance expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen the foundation for data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
Lead and drive enterprise-wide Master Data Management initiatives across business domainsDefine and implement governance standards, processes, and best practices for master dataEnsure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems and platformsSupport efficient data consolidation and access control processesCollaborate with business and technology stakeholders to align MDM initiatives with organizational prioritiesDrive adoption of master data standards and governance frameworks across teamsMonitor and improve MDM processes and governance maturityIdentify opportunities to leverage automation and AI capabilities to enhance master data processesAct as a trusted advisor on master data strategy and governance topics




You are passionate about creating strong data foundations and enabling organizations to unlock value through trusted, well-governed information. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy driving change across complex organizations.
You also bring:
Experience in Master Data Management, data governance, or related data disciplinesStrong understanding of data governance frameworks and data quality principlesExperience leading cross-functional programs or enterprise initiativesKnowledge of master data processes, controls, and lifecycle managementStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience working across business and technology teamsAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilitiesPassion for data-driven transformation and continuous improvementFluent English skills; additional languages are a plus
