In this role you will lead the identification, assessment, and acceleration of critical talent to strengthen leadership continuity and succession readiness. You will transform talent data and leadership conversations into clear business decisions and actionable development plans. Based in Bilbao, you will coordinate with senior leaders to ensure disciplined follow-up and impactful outcomes that support the organization’s growth and transformation.Lead and continuously improve the annual talent review process and calibration sessions with senior leadersIdentify critical roles and develop robust succession plans with readiness and risk mitigationDefine evidence-based frameworks for assessing performance, contribution, and potentialFacilitate talent discussions with senior leadership and ensure reviews translate into development, mobility, retention, and succession actionsDesign and monitor targeted development plans for successors, high-potential talent, and leaders in key positionsBuild and maintain leadership pools and succession pipelines across levels, functions,



and geographiesIncrease visibility of talent beyond traditional candidates to broaden future leadership optionsAssess leadership and succession risks and translate data into actionable decisions with clear ownership and governanceDefine and monitor metrics evaluating leadership pipelines, readiness, and impact of development initiativesCollaborate with People Partners, L&D;, Talent Acquisition and business leaders to align succession planning with growth and transformation priorities7 to 10 years of experience in Talent Management, Succession Planning, Leadership Development, Organizational Development or related areasProven track record designing and facilitating talent reviews with executives and senior leadersStrong knowledge of succession planning methodologies, critical role assessment, and leadership assessment frameworksExperience turning talent review outcomes into practical development, mobility, retention and succession actionsStrong influencing and stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge leaders constructivelyExperience in industrial, engineering, technology or advanced manufacturing environments is highly valuedExposure to methodologies such as Korn Ferry, Learning Agility, Success Profiles or Assessment Centres is desirablePrevious experience in international and multicultural organizationsFluent in English and Spanishbusiness partneringtalent analyticsrisk management in talentsuccession planning frameworks
