If you identify with this, keep reading!ABOUT THE JOBWithin the Railway Systems Area, we are looking for a senior systems specialist to lead the design, integration and delivery of telecom, control and support systems for major railway programmes.The role requires a hands‑on technical leader responsible for the full lifecycle—from design development to commissioning—acting as technical authority across telecom and control systems, and coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces with civil, signalling, power and system teams.The project will deliver a complex railway system aligned with international standards, including design, integration, installation, testing and commissioning of telecom, control, cybersecurity and supporting railway subsystems.Key responsibilitiesLead design and integration of telecom and control systems across the programmeOversee subsystems including Data Communication Network, CCTV, Asset Management Systems, SCADA, Public Address, Passenger Information System, OCC, Wireless Communication Systems (WiFi, GSM-R/FRMCS), Telephony and cybersecurity platforms, Hazard Detection and Early Warning System.Manage interfaces with signalling, traction power, civil and rolling stock systemsEnsure compliance with international standards and project-specific requirementsLead technical reviews, assurance and validation of engineering deliverablesCoordinate with client, contractors, OEMs and multidisciplinary teamsSupport construction, installation,
