Join our R&D; Team as an R&D; Technician and help us evaluate and develop berry varieties through hands-on field work. Based mainly at our trial fields in Huelva, you will monitor agronomic characteristics, collect and analyse trial data, and prepare technical reports that support variety evaluation and decision-making. You will also contribute to the coordination and follow-up of current and future R&D; projects, working with partners and nurseries in Spain and internationally. Your passion – our daily business
- You will support the evaluation, testing and monitoring of berry trials.
- You will monitor and assess agronomic characteristics of different berry varieties under field conditions.
- You will collect, organise and analyse trial data to support decision-making and variety evaluation.
- You will prepare technical reports and summaries based on trial results and field observations.
- You will contribute to the management and follow-up of national and international trials in the R&D; projects when required.
- You will collaborate with SanLucar partners and nurseries in the implementation and monitoring of trials.
- You will contribute to the development of future trials and projects in new locations.
- You will travel regularly for trial implementation, monitoring and follow-up activities.

What you’ll bring along
- Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Technical Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy or a related field. Higher Vocational Training in Agronomy or a similar area will also be considered.
- Advanced Spanish and an intermediate level of English (B2).
- Ideally, at least 1 year of experience in berry cultivation, agricultural trials, R&D; or related agronomic activities. Non-experienced profiles with strong motivation and willingness to learn are also welcome.
- Basic technical and cultivation knowledge of berries, such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.
- Experience in field monitoring and the evaluation of agronomic characteristics of different varieties will be valuable.
- Experience in data collection, analysis and technical reporting, together with good data management skills will be valuable.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Willingness to travel.
- Passion for agriculture and crop development, with a committed and proactive attitude.
- Ability to work autonomous and as part of a team.
