Plenitude Renewables Spain is expanding its Asset Management Department with the addition of a Renewable Performance Analyst at its headquarters in Madrid . Reporting to the Control & Performance area, the successful candidate will support the analysis, monitoring, and optimisation of the operational performance of the company's renewable energy portfolio in Spain, with a particular focus on data quality, performance analysis, and reporting. The role will play a key part in centralising portfolio performance analysis, enhancing the reliability and traceability of operational information, and translating technical deviations into their production and financial impacts.

Main responsibilities

- Analyse the production and performance of solar and wind assets, identifying trends, deviations, and areas for improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators, including production, availability, PR, losses, and deviations against budget and forecast.
- Identify and quantify underperformance, curtailment, grid restrictions, negative pricing, and other sources of production loss.




- Validate and reconcile data from SCADA, monitoring systems, and other operational sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Develop and automate reports and dashboards, particularly using Power BI, to improve the visibility and monitoring of portfolio performance.
- Monitor data quality, communication, and SCADA-related issues, coordinating with the relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare analyses to translate technical deviations into production and financial impacts, supporting decision-making within the Asset Management team.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of performance monitoring processes and reporting tools.

Skills and experience required

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Energy, or a related technical field.
- Approximately 5 years of professional experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector and/or in the performance analysis of energy assets.
- Knowledge of solar and/or wind technologies and their key operational and performance indicators.
- Experience working with SCADA systems, operational data, and performance monitoring tools.
- Good knowledge of Power BI and data analysis. Knowledge of SQL and/or Python would be considered an advantage.
- Excellent command of English.
