Overview

In this role you drive the reliability and scalability of our CI/CD platform within a cloud-first banking environment. You shape and implement the CD strategy, enabling fast, secure feature delivery across development teams. You will strengthen security and compliance, standardise pipelines, and mentor engineers to improve ways of working. You’ll focus on incident management and roadmap contributions to keep production delivery stable and efficient. This is a hands-on, autonomous role at the intersection of platform engineering and security, offering meaningful impact on how we deploy and monitor applications at scale.

Responsabilidades

- Maintain and optimise CI/CD systems powering production deployments
- Shape and influence the CD strategy to accelerate feature delivery




- Improve security and compliance posture of systems
- Implement security and compliance checks in the CD pipeline
- Standardise pipelines to raise user autonomy
- Mentor engineers and improve engineering practices
- Contribute to roadmap definition and prioritisation for the group
- Monitor incidents and production deployment issues to ensure stable delivery

Requisitos principales

- Experience with at least one high-level programming language (Python, Go, TypeScript, Kotlin)
- Strong understanding of Linux, networking, containerisation, and security
- Experience with cloud providers (preferably AWS)
- Experience planning, building, and supporting scalable CI/CD pipelines using trunk-based development or GitHub Flow and Actions
