Overview

In this role you will lead quality control and quality assurance efforts to support reliable products and robust lab practices. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance across the site. You will guide analytical method development, troubleshooting, and data review, while maintaining hands-on lab involvement. Responsabilidades

- Maintain site processes in line with quality standards and internal/third-party requirements
- Oversee maintenance, qualification, and calibration of Quality Department lab equipment with internal/external partners
- Coordinate analysis and reporting of complaint investigations to prevent recurrence
- Lead and support quality assurance initiatives, including root cause analysis and CAPA
- Investigate and implement new analytical methods, tests, and work instructions
- Provide technical leadership on polymer-related quality challenges with Operations and R&D;
- Maintain hands-on lab activities including method development, troubleshooting, data review,



and validation
- Participate in corporate quality audits and support follow-up actions
- Contribute to the site’s annual NWSM goal and quality, safety, and operational objectives
- Develop the team through coaching and knowledge sharing

Requisitos principales

- University degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years in a Quality Control/Quality Assurance environment in chemical/polymer/manufacturing
- Minimum 7 years' experience with ISO9001 or other quality management systems
- Knowledge of polymer materials, testing methodologies, and polymer manufacturing quality requirements
- Hands-on laboratory experience with analytical/physical testing, method development, troubleshooting, and result interpretation
- Experience leading customer complaints and non-conformity investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA
- Proven leadership, coaching, and team development abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and LIMS
- Excellent written and verbal communication in Spanish and English
