Overview

In this role you drive growth, profitability, and competitiveness of the chemical process pump portfolio by translating market insights into actionable product strategies. You collaborate across engineering, operations, and commercial teams to align offerings with customer needs and market opportunities. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, launch efforts, and portfolio optimization to strengthen our market position in the EU region. This is a high-visibility role that shapes strategy and mobilizes the organization for measurable business impact.

Responsabilidades

- Develop deep knowledge of the general chemical process pump market, applications, customers, competitors, and industry trends
- Identify customer needs, buying criteria, and factors influencing equipment selection
- Maintain competitive intelligence on product performance, pricing, lead times, and strategic approaches
- Identify high-growth segments and new applications to increase market share
- Engage with customers, EPCs, distributors, regional sales teams, and internal stakeholders to gather market insights
- Translate insights into actionable strategies that drive profitable growth and competitive positioning
- Develop and execute market-driven product and portfolio strategies aligned with growth and lifecycle value
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and supply chain to improve competitiveness, cost, availability, and roadmaps
- Lead global product launches, commercial enablement, portfolio optimization, and aftermarket growth initiatives




- Build cross-functional alignment and communicate strategic recommendations and business cases to technical, commercial, and leadership audiences
- Other duties as assigned

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related engineering discipline (or European equivalent)
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in product management, technical sales, business development, or strategic marketing in industrial pumps
- Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives
- Strong English communication skills for presentations to diverse audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills with credibility and stakeholder influence
- Self-motivated, independent, and able to drive initiatives from concept to execution
- Curiosity and ability to rapidly develop expertise in new markets and technologies
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization; willingness to travel ~30%
- Familiarity with chemical process pumps and ISO 2858 designs
- Knowledge of chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, or similar markets
- Experience with both mechanically sealed and sealless pumping technologies
- Experience developing product strategies, competitive intelligence, market segmentation, or go-to-market initiatives
