Overview

As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you embed with customers to prototype and productionize AI solutions that address real business challenges. You shape technical strategy, deliver full-stack AI applications, and codify repeatable patterns for scalable deployment. You work closely with strategic customers to move AI use cases from prototype to production while mentoring teams and feeding insights back to product.

This role blends customer-facing leadership with hands-on engineering in enterprise environments, offering impact through practical AI at scale.

Responsabilidades Build & Prototype AI applications on Cloudera to demonstrate AI and agentic solutions

Partner with customer teams to progress AI use cases from prototype to production

Shape enterprise AI strategy, roadmaps, deployment considerations, and business alignment

Codify successful patterns into reference architectures, productized solutions, and starter kits





Mentor Cloudera teams and contribute reusable tooling and playbooks to scale AI capability

Requisitos principales 7+ years of experience building and deploying production-grade systems

2-3 years of experience with Generative AI or agentic applications

Strong hands-on software engineering, data engineering, and applied AI/ML skills

Experience with foundation models, context engineering, RAG, and agentic workflows

Deep understanding of LLMOps/MLOps practices (evaluation, observability, serving, lifecycle)

Experience designing scalable AI solution architectures aligned to enterprise standards (security, governance, compliance)

Strong customer-facing communication with both technical and executive audiences

High autonomy in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

Collaborative mindset and mentorship or enablement experience

This is a customer-facing role with remote and on-site engagements (up to ~20% travel)
