Core Banking Product Ownership

Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for the core banking platform and its ecosystem. Act as Product Owner for one of Mambu, Thought Machine or Engine by Starling (or equivalent modern core banking platform). Manage product configuration versus custom build decisions, ensuring regulatory and commercial alignment.





Neo – Bank/ Greenfield Delivery Lead core banking product workstreams fornew‐bankor regulated platform creation,migrationor major transformation. Partner with Architecture and Engineering to design scalable,API‐first,cloud‐nativesolutions. ECB, local national regulators) on platform design, controls, and operational readiness.

Ensure core banking capabilities support regulatory requirements including safeguarding, reconciliation, reporting,auditabilityand resilience. Collaborate closely with Compliance, Risk and Financial Crime teams to embed controls by design. Work closely with engineering teams using agile delivery methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Own senior stakeholder communication across Technology, Operations, Finance and Executive leadership. Ensureappropriate monitoring, incident management and change governance for a regulated environment. Hands‐onproduct ownership of at least one modern core banking platform e.g.Experience working withcloud‐nativeplatforms (Azure preferred).

Core Banking Expertise: Deep understanding of modern,API‐firstcore banking architectures.

Analytical & Commercial Thinking: Understands cost models, scalability andlong‐termplatform economics.
