As a Project Engineer at GEA, you will design and optimize mechanical and process systems for advanced production lines. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient project delivery worldwide. You’ll lead design reviews, procurement, and on-site commissioning, shaping sustainable solutions including carbon capture initiatives. This role offers global exposure, hands-on problem solving, and opportunities to impact scalable production technology.

- Define and design mechanical and process systems for production lines
- Prepare specifications, procurement documents, and technical reports
- Perform process calculations for pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and utilities
- Oversee 3D design, layouts, and preassemblies
- Generate equipment tenders and installation material lists
- Lead on-site supervision, QC, and commissioning support
- Ensure safety, risk assessments, and compliance with standards
- Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors
- Prepare project reports, track KPIs, and assist in sales planning




- Contribute to projects with sustainable technologies and carbon capture
- Travel and hands-on work at global project sites

Responsabilidades

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Food Technology
- Experience in chemical, dairy, food, or beverage industries is highly desirable
- Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages a plus (Chinese, French, German)
- Strong knowledge of process design and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with 3D design tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Understanding of utilities, instrumentation, and process control xugodme
- Ability to lead internal and external teams, manage timelines, budgets, and resources
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Analytical and problem-solving capability
- Knowledge of project finance, budgeting, cost control, and forecasting
- Commitment to QHSE and safety standards
- Willingness to travel extensively
