Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 AED per month tax free

We’re partnering with a technology company looking for a Senior Data Scientist to research, develop and improve machine learning models used to detect fraud and suspicious behaviour in real time.

What You’ll Do

- Research, design and build ML models for fraud detection and authentication.
- Develop classification and predictive models using tabular, behavioural and transactional data.
- Build models that make real-time predictions against streaming data from mobile and web activity.
- Identify fraudulent and suspicious behaviour using device interactions, behavioural signals and transaction patterns.
- Apply classical ML, statistical modelling, neural networks and ensemble approaches.
- Solve challenges involving highly imbalanced datasets, rare fraud events, anomaly detection and evolving attack patterns.
- Research new techniques and bring relevant algorithms and approaches into the team.
- Take fraud and security problems and translate them into effective ML solutions.
- Own models from initial research through to production use, monitoring performance and continuously iterating.
- Build evaluation frameworks and monitor model performance, drift and data quality.
- Write clean, well-tested and production-ready Python.
- Clearly communicate findings, model performance and technical decisions across the wider business.





What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on Data Science / Machine Learning experience.
- Strong experience building fraud detection or fraud prevention models.
- Strong experience with classification, predictive modelling and tabular data.
- Deep understanding of classical ML, statistical modelling and model evaluation.
- Experience with anomaly detection, rare-event modelling and highly imbalanced datasets.
- Strong feature engineering experience across behavioural, temporal or transactional data.
- Expert-level Python and strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience taking models from research and experimentation through to production.
- Understanding of model monitoring, drift detection and performance evaluation.
- Ability to independently research and apply new ML techniques.
