Overview

As Integral Category Manager for Utilities, you will shape the global energy procurement strategy and represent procurement to senior partners. You will monitor markets, assess innovation and regulatory trends, and negotiate energy contracts with a focus on risk and cost optimization. You will drive CSRD-related procurement measures including ESG integration and reporting support, collaborating with sustainability, facilities, and finance teams.

This role offers impact by aligning energy sourcing with sustainability and corporate objectives within a global, cross-functional setting.

Responsabilidades Develop and implement a global category strategy within energy procurement

Represent procurement to external partners and senior management

Monitor energy markets and track innovation and technology trends

Negotiate energy contracts emphasizing risk and cost optimization

Monitor regulatory developments in energy markets and take necessary actions





Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sustainability, facility management, finance)

Drive CSRD-relevant procurement measures including PPAs, ESG integration, and reporting support

Requisitos principales Degree in business administration, engineering, energy economics, or comparable

Several years of experience in strategic energy procurement

Solid knowledge of electricity and gas markets

Experience with PPAs and sustainability strategies

Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes

Fluency in English and Spanish; German is an advantage

Proficiency with digital tools and MS Office

SAP knowledge is a plus
