The Opportunity

We are supporting a integral industrial B2B group headquartered in Barcelona in its search for an interim strategy consultant to support the preparation of its 2027–2030 Strategic Plan .

The role combines strategic planning, financial modelling, market analysis, and senior stakeholder coordination . The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, Business Intelligence team, and regional leadership across Europe, North America, Asia, and Latin America.

Responsibilities

- Support the end-to-end development of the 2027–2030 Strategic Plan.
- Build and own a consolidated Excel model covering four-year projections across regions and subsidiaries.
- Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, market-share, growth, and margin analysis.
- Coordinate inputs and working sessions across HQ and regional teams.
- Reconcile top-down strategic objectives with bottom-up regional plans.




- Translate the analysis into a clear, board-ready executive presentation.

Requirements

- Strong strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or commercial advisory background.
- Prior ownership of strategic planning or corporate strategy engagements.
- Strong financial modelling skills, including building structured multi-entity models in Excel.
- Experience with market sizing, benchmarking, growth, and margin analysis.
- Ability to work directly with senior executives and regional leadership.
- Professional fluency in Spanish and English .
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid Barcelona-based setup.

Ideal Backgrounds

- Former MBB or Tier-2 strategy consultant at Engagement Manager / Project Leader level.
- Big Four Strategy / Deals Strategy Manager or Senior Manager.
- Former consultant now working in Corporate Strategy / Strategy & Planning within an industrial or diversified B2B group.

Nice to Have

- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or multi-region B2B environments.
- Prior experience coordinating strategic-planning inputs across multiple regions, business units, or subsidiaries.
