Role TitleDigital Marketing Steering Manager, GlobalReports toGlobal Head of Digital MarketingSeniority4-7 YearsLocationMadrid or EuropeAbout UsThe Digital Marketing Steering Manager, Global plays a critical execution and coordination role in supporting the Global Head of Digital Marketing and three Regional Digital Marketing Managers (Americas, Europe, APAC) in delivering the Global Operating Model across 20 markets and all external agency partners.This role acts as the global operational engine — enabling Regional Managers to focus on strategic agency stewardship, performance governance, and budget allocation by handling the operational execution that underpins their work: agency reporting consolidation, creative asset coordination, campaign readiness, website content management, RFP support, GOM compliance tracking, and cross-regional coordination.Reports directly to the Head of Digital Marketing, Global.Key ResponsibilitiesAgency Operations & GOM Compliance SupportSupport Regional Digital Marketing Managers in monitoring agency adherence to the Global Operating Model across all marketsConsolidate monthly and quarterly agency performance KPIs (CPA, ROAS, etc.) across regions into global reporting dashboardsCoordinate agency deliverable timelines — ensuring performance briefs, digital plans, and optimizations are submitted on schedule and to global standardsSupport RFP processes by coordinating documentation, evaluation criteria, timelines, and stakeholder inputs across regionsAssist in onboarding new agencies — preparing GOM orientation materials, access requirements, reporting templates, and compliance checklistsMaintain and update GOM documentation, playbooks, and compliance checklists as the model evolvesFlag agency performance risks, adherence gaps, or cross-market inconsistencies to Regional Managers for escalationBudget & Performance Reporting SupportSupport Regional Managers in tracking digital budget allocation among agencies and channels across marketsCompile performance data to help identify underperforming channels and inform reallocation recommendationsAssist in preparing quarterly deep-dive performance materials and strategic recommendations for regional and general stakeholdersAudit media buy efficiency data and consolidate cross-market learnings for Regional Manager reviewEnsure data accuracy and consistency across all agency-submitted reportsCreative,
Content & Campaign CoordinationCoordinate localization of global creative assets to meet regional linguistic, regulatory, and cultural requirements across marketsManage creative review cycles — routing assets (storyboards, rough cuts, final deliverables) through approval workflowsExecute website copy uploads across all markets, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency with global standardsBuild and maintain landing pages to support campaign initiatives and testing roadmaps globallyCoordinate email newsletter content (monthly/quarterly), including asset preparation and copy integration across regionsSupport campaign readiness by coordinating asset delivery between agencies, Regional Managers, and internal teamsAI Readiness Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data, analytics and cloud-based tools, using insights responsibly with our standards of data governance, security and ethical use.Tracking & Marketing OperationsCollaborate with analytics and media teams to ensure tracking frameworks are properly implemented and consistent across all marketsSupport troubleshooting of tracking issues (e.G., conversions, tagging, campaign performance discrepancies)Assist in aligning campaign tracking requirements with global standards and tools (e.G., GTM, platform pixels)Monitor adherence to global reporting standards across agency submissionsCross-Regional Coordination & Stakeholder AlignmentAct as a key liaison between the Global Head of Digital Marketing, Regional Managers, and local market stakeholdersCoordinate timelines, deliverables, and communications across multiple regions and time zonesSupport Regional Managers in adapting global strategy to local market needs — coordinating cultural nuances, regulatory requirements, country-specific disclosures, and localization variants with agenciesTrack competitor and market activity inputs from Regional Managers and consolidate for general visibilityManage meeting coordination, agenda preparation, and follow-up actions for global team cadencesDocument best practices, cross-market learnings,
and agency benchmarking insightsKey Skills & Experience4-7 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing operations, or agency coordination rolesExperience working with external digital agencies in a governance, coordination, or operations capacityHands-on experience with website CMS, content publishing, and digital campaign coordinationFamiliarity with digital marketing channels (paid search, social, programmatic, SEO, email) and campaign lifecycleStrong understanding of performance KPIs (CPA, ROAS, conversion metrics) and reporting frameworksStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously across regionsAnalytical mindset with experience in performance reporting, data consolidation, and budget trackingExcellent attention to detail and ability to maintain documentation and compliance standardsExperience working across multiple markets, regions, languages, and time zonesStrong communication skills — able to coordinate across diverse stakeholders without direct authorityExperience in insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries preferredHow We HireAllianz Partners does not accept unsolicited CV’s or approaches from agencies.
