A European infrastructure investment platform is looking to appoint a senior investment professional to join its Brussels-based team and take responsibility for the active management and optimisation of a portfolio of infrastructure investments.

This is a broad, hands-on role covering financial, commercial and strategic aspects of asset management. The successful candidate will be expected to work across portfolio performance, valuation, financial modelling, business planning, contractual matters and negotiations, while acting as a senior point of contact for management teams, advisers and other stakeholders.

The position would suit an experienced professional from infrastructure, energy, renewables or real assets, with relevant experience from real estate investment or asset management also considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Take senior responsibility for the ongoing management and performance of infrastructure investments
- Monitor and challenge financial and operational performance across the portfolio
- Lead financial modelling, forecasting, valuation and investment analysis




- Review and assess P&L;, cash flow, budgets and business plans
- Identify and execute opportunities to enhance asset value and improve financial and operational performance
- Lead or participate in commercial negotiations with counterparties, management teams, lenders, advisers and other stakeholders
- Review and negotiate key commercial and contractual documentation
- Identify portfolio-level risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies
- Work closely with legal, technical, financial and other external advisers
- Prepare materials for senior management and investment committees
- Take an active role in strategic decisions relating to portfolio companies and underlying assets
- Represent the investment platform in discussions with shareholders, management teams, partners and external stakeholders
- Contribute to broader investment and portfolio-management initiatives across the platform
