We are exclusively supporting an established Private Bank with the appointment of a new Team Head focused on Belgian entrepreneurs, SME owners and family businesses.

The bank is exceptionally well equipped across both Wealth Management and Investment Banking, with a highly versátil balance sheet and an entrepreneurial culture that allows senior bankers to find solutions rather than simply operate within a rigid product framework.

It has built a particularly strong position within Belgium's entrepreneurial community and has been recognised as Bank of the Year for Family Businesses.

The bank is now undergoing an important period of transformation and growth.

For that reason, we are not simply looking for an experienced manager.

We are looking for a serious personality who wants to build.

The Mandate

You will take responsibility for an established team of Private Bankers covering entrepreneurs, SME owners and family-business clients.

The foundations are already there. The mandate is to take the team to its next level of growth, performance and market relevance.

You will be expected to:

- Lead, motivate and commercially develop an established team of Private Bankers
- Set a clear strategy for growing the bank's entrepreneur and family-business franchise
- Drive new AUM, revenues and client acquisition across the team
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across Wealth Management, Investment Banking, Credit and specialist advisory capabilities
- Leverage a flexible balance sheet to create solutions for entrepreneurs whose private and corporate financial requirements are often closely connected
- Personally engage with significant entrepreneurs,



shareholders and family-business owners
- Identify opportunities across liquidity events, financing, investments, succession and the transition from corporate to private wealth
- Raise the commercial ambition of the existing team and help individual bankers perform at a higher level
- Build stronger internal connectivity so that the full capabilities of the bank are brought to clients
- Play an active role in the wider transformation and future direction of the Belgian Private Banking business

Who We Want to Meet

This is not a mandate centred around securing the largest possible salary increase.

Of course, the overall proposition will be competitive. However, we are much more interested in individuals motivated by the opportunity to lead an established team, influence a transforming business and build something materially bigger over the coming years.

We want to meet Team Heads and senior Banking (Private or Corporate) leaders with personality, credibility and commercial drive.

Someone who is comfortable challenging the status quo.

Someone capable of bringing people together internally rather than operating in a silo.

And, importantly, someone who sees the combination of Private Banking, Investment Banking and a flexible balance sheet and immediately understands what could be built around Belgium's entrepreneurial and family-business community.
