We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of capital and manufacturing projects within a regulated production environment.

The idóneo candidate will have approximately 6-15 years of project management experience, with a background in pharmaceutical, biotech, or another regulated manufacturing GMO environments.

The role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for two key project workstreams:

Live Manufacturing Project

- Construction and project delivery within an existing manufacturing building.
- The facility will remain operational throughout the project.
- Manage segregation and phasing of construction activities.
- Coordinate closely with manufacturing and site operations to minimise disruption.
- Manage interfaces between construction, operations, engineering and other site stakeholders.

Warehouse Project

- Delivery of a separate greenfield warehouse project.
- This project will not be delivered within an operational manufacturing environment.
- Coordinate project activities from planning through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate assigned manufacturing and capital project workstreams.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risks and actions.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders, SMEs, Technical/System Owners, contractors and external project partners.
- Manage construction activities within an operational manufacturing environment.
- Coordinate segregation, phasing and interfaces with ongoing site operations.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and changes.
- Lead project meetings and ensure actions are followed through.
- Provide clear project reporting to relevant stakeholders.




- Coordinate technical teams while maintaining overall responsibility for project delivery.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with site, quality, safety and GMP requirements.

Experience Required

- 6–15 years' experience in project management.
- Experience delivering projects within a manufacturing environment.
- Pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical or other regulated industry experience.
- Experience managing projects within a live/operational manufacturing facility.
- Strong project management systems, governance, planning and project controls experience.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders, SMEs and contractors.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with GMP environments is highly desirable.
- Chemical API manufacturing experience would be particularly relevant.
- Alternatively, biologics manufacturing experience involving the installation of process equipment.
- Experience with CAPEX, construction or facility projects is desirable.

Technical Requirements

- Strong project management, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to understand technical requirements and effectively coordinate technical teams is essential.

- Dutch - essential
- English - professional working proficiency

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a strong Project Manager who has experience delivering projects within a regulated manufacturing environment.

They will be comfortable managing projects around ongoing manufacturing operations, coordinating multiple stakeholders and technical SMEs, and maintaining strong project controls from planning through to delivery.

Experience with live-site construction, GMP manufacturing and CAPEX projects would be particularly advantageous.
