Overview

In this role you drive aircraft airworthiness and certification activities for a new military program in the Military Derivatives department. You collaborate with design, program, and external partners to set certification basis, manage plans, and ensure compliance across authorities. You will support E2E design and certification throughout the product lifecycle, integrating military systems into a civil derivative while maintaining rigorous regulation adherence. This position offers impact on European sovereignty and cross-divisional collaboration in a high-ambition program.

Responsabilidades

- Define certification basis and strategy aligned with design and operations
- Negotiate certification approaches with Airworthiness Authorities (European and National)
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to optimize product certification strategy
- Manage certification activities to deliver plans and demonstrations on time and to standard
- Collaborate with Airbus Commercial to share knowledge across divisions
- Support complete product lifecycle in an end-to-end design and certification process




- Handle integration of military systems into civil derivatives with compliant certification frame
- Provide certification knowledge to DOA, quality, Chief Engineer, Architecture and Integration
- Define ICAs requirements (AMM, Trouble Shooting Manual, IPC) and demonstrate compliance
- Support timely approval of ICAs through issue identification and risk management
- Coordinate CVEs, Chief Engineer, and Services Organisation in certification
- Draft manuals and instructions for continued airworthiness in use and customer context

Requisitos principales

- At least 3 years of engineering experience
- Strong understanding of aircraft technical domains (structures, flight physics, systems)
- Technical background in aerospace disciplines (systems, structures, flight physics, flight control)
- Familiarity with airworthiness regulation
- Engineering or aerospace studies (or similar)
- Good English; Spanish and French are a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, proactivity and team spirit
- Proactive with idea generation and willingness to collaborate
