We're looking for a Back Office Agent to join the MH Bland team in Algeciras.

Working as part of our Operations Department, the role provides essential operational support to our local Port Agents, helping coordinate the many moving parts behind a successful vessel call.

The role includes

Managing documentation and formalities with port and government authorities

Preparing and processing cargo manifests and vessel documentation

Coordinating vessel port calls with ships, local agents and service providers

Preparing Proforma Disbursement Accounts (PDAs)

Updating operational systems and databases

Supporting the smooth execution of vessel calls and resolving operational issues

We're looking for someone organised, proactive and detail oriented, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Previous experience as a Port Agent or Operator in the maritime sector is valuable, while fluency in English and Spanish is required. A clean Class B driving licence and own vehicle are also essential.

Location: Algeciras

Hours: Full time, 40 hours
