Chaberton Professionals, the division of Chaberton Partners dedicated to the search and selection of Middle and Top Management profiles, is currently seeking a Branch Manager for an international group active in environmental-facilities services.

Branch Manager – Spain (Girona_Barcelona)

The Branch Manager serves as the custodian of the Group’s business and brand across Spain. Reporting directly to Headquarters (HQ), this role holds full strategic, operational, and commercial leadership for driving growth and scaling the local subsidiary.

The adecuado candidate brings deep expertise in Environmental Services for Critical Infrastructure:

- Industry Complexity: Operating in a high-barrier-to-entry sector characterized by stringent regulatory compliance, rigorous HSEQ standards, and complex risk management protocols.
- Key Focus & Stakeholder Management: Acting as a highly credible institutional interface, managing relationships with government agencies, local authorities, major industrial players, and public utilities.

Key Responsibilities

- P&L; & Strategic Growth: Define and execute the subsidiary’s annual budget in alignment with HQ guidelines, holding full ownership of top-line revenue and bottom-line profitability
- High-Level Business Development: Proactively open doors with strategic accounts, lead involvement in major international tenders, and build long-term, high-value commercial partnerships.




- People Leadership & Corporate Culture: Recruit, mentor, and retain top local talent. As a key representative of an entrepreneurial group, effectively bridge corporate values (agility, rapid decision-making, dedication) with local Spanish business culture and practices.

Qualifications & Core Competencies

- Hybrid Academic & Commercial Background: A degree in Engineering (Industrial, Environmental, or Management) combined with a strong commercial, business, or financial background.
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 8–10 years in senior Business Development or Business Unit Management roles abroad/regionally, ideally within Large-Scale Facility/Environmental Services, Infrastructure, or Energy sectors.
- International DNA & Versatility: Native or fluent Spanish (Catalan) along with full professional English proficiency (local Spanish market expertise is strongly preferred). Italian language is preferred but not mandatory. Exceptional adaptability—equally comfortable presenting at C-level/government meetings as well as conducting operational site inspections on critical infrastructure.
- Entrepreneurial Ownership: A strong hands-on ownership mindset, capable of driving rapid decision-making and navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
