Experteer Overview
As a Project Engineer at GEA, you will design and optimize mechanical and process systems for advanced production lines. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient project delivery worldwide. You’ll lead design reviews, procurement, and on-site commissioning, shaping sustainable solutions including carbon capture initiatives. This role offers global exposure, hands-on problem solving, and opportunities to impact scalable production technology.

• Define and design mechanical and process systems for production lines
• Prepare specifications, procurement documents, and technical reports
• Perform process calculations for pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and utilities
• Oversee 3D design, layouts, and preassemblies
• Generate equipment tenders and installation material lists
• Lead on-site supervision, QC, and commissioning support
• Ensure safety, risk assessments, and compliance with standards
• Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors
• Prepare project reports, track KPIs, and assist in sales planning

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Food Technology
• Experience in chemical, dairy, food, or beverage industries is highly desirable
• Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages a plus (Chinese, French, German)
• Strong knowledge of process design and mechanical systems
• Familiarity with 3D design tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Understanding of utilities, instrumentation, and process control
• Ability to lead internal and external teams, manage timelines, budgets, and resources
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Analytical and problem-solving capability
• Knowledge of project finance, budgeting, cost control, and forecasting
• Commitment to QHSE and safety standards
• Willingness to travel extensively
