We are seeking a Financial Controller to support IT Production teams with budget forecasting, cost monitoring, financial reporting, and contract follow-up.
Hybrid – Brussels, with 50% on-site and 50% homeworking.
Responsibilities:
- Support IT Production teams with budget forecasts and financial reporting.
- Manage departmental budgets, from allocation and expense tracking to future forecasting.
- Monitor and document Resource Costs, Non-Resource Costs, and subcontractor costs.
- Oversee the contract lifecycle from initiation through completion.
- Collaborate with Tribe Leads, Contract Managers, Procurement, and other stakeholders.
- Initiate requests, monitor current expenditure, and coordinate follow-up actions using relevant tools.
- Track the end-to-end finance process and ensure all required steps are completed effectively.
Must-have requirements:
- At least three years of relevant experience in performance management.
- Proven experience supporting departmental budget management, expense tracking, and forecasting.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics or a comparable field.
- Detail-oriented, process-driven, adaptable, reliable, and collaborative approach.
- Fluency in English and fluency in either Dutch or French.
