Experteer Overview
In this Data Engineer role, you will translate architecture blueprints into scalable, cloud-based data solutions. You’ll partner with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end platforms, migrations, and analytics capabilities that improve security, reduce costs, and boost agility. You will lead technical efforts, develop reports and dashboards, and guide projects across multiple workstreams. This is a hands-on, impact-focused position in a mission-driven organization.

• Support data engineering needs across the organization with technical guidance in Big Data tools and source-code quality control
• Design and build high-performing end-to-end applications for batch and streaming data in a multi-tenant cloud platform
• Develop platform capabilities, processes, and conventions to standardize data deliverables and enable reusability
• Collaborate with architecture to evolve the Big Data Platform strategy and evaluate new technologies
• Contribute to analytics services including reporting and predictive analytics; create self-service data solutions
• Interview business owners to understand problems and present findings to identify trends, risks, and opportunities




• Develop applications and prototypes for data-driven insights and support release processes
• Implement and standardize routine reports, dashboards, and metrics including data civics initiatives

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years of experience or post-secondary education in a relevant field
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent)
• 3–5 years hands-on data engineering experience at scale in cloud environments
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; strong coding practices
• Experience with AWS services (S3, RDS, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Data Pipeline, CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of object-oriented design and familiarity with pandas/Spark
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and Agile practices
• Strong ability to work with complex data structures (JSON/XML) and data modeling
• Public projects or demos are a plus
• Gen AI prompt engineering and RAG architecture familiarity preferred
• Expert-level ability to design and manage data-intensive applications in cloud or big data frameworks
