The Quantum Nanophotonics Group at the Materials Physics Center investigates the interaction of structured and quantum light with matter at the nanoscale. The group combines fundamental and applied research in quantum optics, nanophotonics and quantum technologies, with a strong experimental component. Current research topics
include optical levitation, squeezed states of light, quantum metrology, quantum communication technologies and quantum sensing. For more information, visit our web:

Candidates should hold a degree in Physics, Engineering or a related field. Experience in experimental optics, laser systems, optomechanics, data acquisition, instrumentation and scientific programming (Python, MATLAB or similar) will be highly appreciated.



Previous experience in quantum optics, squeezed light or optical levitation will be considered an advantage.
