Our client, a leading global pharmaceutical company with a strong and growing European footprint, is offering an exciting opportunity as Brand Manager to launch an Ophthalmology product in several EU countries with Spain as priority. This is a temporary contract for a maternity leave cover but within this time frame you can use your expertise and finish with a new achievement.

This role is fully remote so you can improve your work-life balance and will save time and costs on travelling.

Role Responsibilities

- Lead the EU marketing strategy and brand plans for ophthalmology, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader mission to expand patient access and strengthen its position in specialty care.
- Manage and mentor a team of EU Product Managers across Europe, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Build and elevate the company’s external presence in ophthalmology by leading congress and symposium activities, organizing product meetings, and engaging directly with key opinion leaders (KOLs) across Europe to drive adoption and advocacy.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business,



or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 5-7 years’ experience in pharmaceutical marketing, including at least 2 years in a leadership role managing teams
- A proven track record of launching products across multiple European countries (preferably in Spain). Ideally within ophthalmology or related therapeutic areas.
- Fluent level of English, and fluency in Spanish or other EU language is a plus.
