The Procurement Coordinator supports the efficient and compliant acquisition of raw materials required for operations. It exists to maintain supply continuity, optimize costs, and ensure accurate procurement documentation while supporting operational and strategic objectives.
The Procurement Coordinator will manage a portfolio of suppliers, and will be responsible for carrying out daily follow-up activities to ensure proper and timely supply.
Advise Planning and Production daily of any missing raw materials and provide the best delivery dates confirmed by suppliers.
Continually review and improve suppliers’ delivery performance and identifying ways to improve it. In case of late deliveries or any issue, chase suppliers & raise complaints where necessary and work closely with Purchasing to improve poor performers.




Continually review ways and means to improve material inventory management and balance customer requirements and forecasts to ensure the correct level of inventory.
Work closely with Purchasing and R&D; when sourcing alternative raw materials in order to ensure customer delivery dates are met and/or to determine the appropriate minimum order quantity and the most favorable lead time.
Play a key role in supporting the initiatives and KPI targets set in Supply Chain, in particular for the Procurement Coordinator these are the Supplier OTIF, the days of coverage of raw materials, raw material dumps, and the Customer OTIF.
Undergraduate studies in Supply Chain Management or Inventory Management.
Minimum of 5 years experience working in a Procurement role with a proven track record of delivering results.
Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals including forecasting, inventory control, logistics coordination, and supplier performance management.
Ability to track KPIs such as cost savings, lead times, supplier performance, and procurement cycle times.
Fluent in English (C1) and Spanish.
