Main function and scope

- Contribute to the development of innovative biosensing technologies
- Transition across related medical device technologies
- We are looking for an energetic, hands-on and highly adaptable researcher who enjoys working across different projects and technologies in a dynamic, startup-like R&D; environment.

Primary Functions
- Design, develop, integrate and experimentally validate biosensing platforms including point-of-care and continuous biosensing technologies.
- Develop and optimize sensor prototypes, including functionalization, integration, testing and performance characterization.
- Conceptualize,



plan and prepare research proposals from recognizing and exploiting opportunities for innovation and progress for further development or creation of new lines of research.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, presentations and research proposals.
- Contribute to lab organization, experimental workflows and good laboratory practices
- Rapidly learn and adapt to new projects, technologies and technical challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal and external teams.
- Support US expansion activities, including technical collaborations and external R&D; opportunities.

Required experience and candidate profile
- The candidate may have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering followed by a Ph.D. focused on biosensing, bioengineering, medical devices or a closely related field.
