Overview

In this role you will help shape powerplant control system architectures and integrate legacy and new systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into robust solutions, supporting both Lab and Flight campaigns. You’ll design, validate, and test control systems, and contribute to reusable testing platforms while embracing modular, flexible, and independent design. This position offers exposure to cutting-edge aerospace technologies and a path to grow within a multiculturally driven environment.

Responsabilidades

- Propose and shaping future control system architectures
- Identify customer needs and propose optimal solutions
- Design and integrate powerplant control systems (new and legacy)
- Validate new design solutions and develop testing platforms
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with engine manufacturers
- Analyze qualification and verification documents for proper system integration




- Support A/C test campaigns (Labs/Ground) as Design Office liaison
- Pursue ongoing professional development with expert-guided training

Requisitos principales

- Degree in Aeronautical Engineering (or related)
- Teamwork and problem-solving mindset
- Experience in design and development of control systems for complex aerospace applications
- Experience with system testing campaigns
- Solid knowledge of software development, control theory, PLC programming, microcontrollers, and communication buses (ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, CAN, AFDX)
- Experience with maintenance concepts and ARINC 615A/665 dataloading
- Experience with modeling/simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink)
- Familiarity with aerospace safety standards (DO-178C, DO-254, CS25, CS23)
- Ability to work independently and in team
- Excellent Spanish and English communication skills
