- Serve as the senior underwriting and claims representative for the sub-region, building strong client and partner relationships to strengthen RGA's market position
- Partner with Managing Director, Business Development and Pricing to identify opportunities for profitable growth and strategic accounts
- Provide underwriting and claims thought leadership through presentations, workshops, audits, and strategic discussions; sponsor key client relationships
- Develop and execute the sub-region underwriting and claims strategy aligned with regional and enterprise objectives
- Identify market trends, regulatory developments and client needs to keep RGA ahead in the region
- Collaborate with regional leadership and SMEs to deliver the regional strategy and share best practices
- Lead sub-region underwriting and claims teams to deliver high-quality services and achieve service standards
- Oversee capacity planning, resource allocation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead client quality assurance programs and ensure governance, risk management, and control frameworks across activities
- Champion adoption of biometric,

- Bachelor's degree in arts/sciences; professional qualification in underwriting, claims, insurance or related discipline
- Significant life and health insurance or reinsurance experience with underwriting/claims leadership exposure
- Proven experience leading technical, operational or client-facing teams and developing people
- Demonstrated success managing strategic client relationships and supporting business growth
- Experience delivering operational improvement and transformation initiatives
- Multinational or reinsurance environment experience preferred
- Experience across multiple product lines and distribution channels preferred
- Strong understanding of underwriting philosophy, claims management, risk assessment and governance frameworks
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
- Strategic leadership and execution across underwriting and claims in the assigned area
- Underwriting, claims, risk assessment and governance expertise in life/health insurance or reinsurance
- Excellent leadership, coaching and people development skills; ability to build high-performing teams
- Exceptional relationship-building, stakeholder management and client engagement capabilities
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively at executive level, with strong presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills balancing client needs, business objectives and risk
