Experteer Overview
In this role you will operationalize and scale the Privacy Program across Europe, Middle East and Africa, ensuring compliance with GDPR, UK GDPR, ePrivacy, AI-related rules, and regional laws. You will partner with Legal, Regulatory and Quality, and business functions to translate global privacy strategy into region-specific plans. You’ll lead privacy governance, risk assessments, and data subject rights processes, while enabling growth through privacy-by-design and responsible AI use. This strategic, cross-functional position offers the chance to shape regional privacy programs, drive measurable impact, and influence leadership through practical guidance.

• Lead the regional privacy program as main point of contact for EMEA privacy matters
• Translate global privacy strategy into region-specific plans and priorities
• Ensure GDPR/UK GDPR/ePrivacy compliance and monitor regulatory developments
• Draft and adapt regional policies, SOPs, and guidance for local needs
• Oversee privacy risk assessments (DPIAs, AI assessments, transfer impact assessments) and privacy-by-design principles
• Oversee RoPA, accountability documentation, and privacy governance reporting
• Lead or oversee third-party privacy risk assessments and data processing agreements




• Provide privacy guidance to sales, commercial, and legal teams for customer engagements
• Manage data subject rights responses and regulatory inquiries; coordinate incident notification
• Develop and deliver region-specific privacy training and promote a culture of privacy accountability
• Develop and deploy regionally tailored AI governance models and training
• Model ethical leadership and foster trust in compliance leadership
• Collaborate with Global Privacy, Security, Data Governance, and regional stakeholders to align programs

Responsabilidades
• Senior privacy professional with experience in EMEA privacy laws
• Proven track record in regulatory compliance and privacy risk management
• Experience with DPIAs, RoPA, data transfer mechanisms (SCCs, BCRs)
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience with AI governance and privacy considerations for AI-enabled use cases
• Regulatory monitoring and handling audits, inquiries, and investigations
• Ability to translate general strategy into regional execution
• Excellent communication and training capabilities
