As a Senior Software Platform Integration Engineer, you will drive the CoC’s computing platforms strategy to deliver robust, certifiable software for multisystem architectures. You’ll lead design, verification, and integration of platform software across onboard safety-critical computers, aligning with DO-178C processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architectures, APIs, and platform services that support standardization and reuse. Responsabilidades

- Elicit and maintain SRS for onboard safety-critical computers; perform V&V; per RTCA DO-178C up to DAL-A
- Define and lead software platform architectures for multisystem computing platforms, including partitioning, scheduling, and resource management
- Drive standardization by delivering common APIs and platform support software (RTOS, BSP, drivers, middleware)
- Develop and implement extensible capabilities for embeddable solutions (secure math, filesystem services, time/logging)




- Support platform software certification processes, interfacing with authorities to demonstrate DO-178C compliance
- Assist with trade-off analyses, benchmarking, and rapid prototyping on reference boards; bring up new target platforms for multicore architectures

Requisitos principales

- Proficient in C for real-time embedded systems
- Experience with GNU toolchains and compilers (GCC, Clang/LLVM, Diab)
- Strong background in ARM, PowerPC, or x86 and SoC architectures; knowledge of MMUs, caches, memory hierarchies, pipelining
- Expert knowledge of avionics data buses and networks (ARINC-429, MIL-STD-1553B, CAN, AFDX, TSN) and I/O interfaces
- Experience with low-speed (UART, SPI, I2C) and high-speed (PCIe) interconnects; DMA
- Advanced knowledge of safety-critical RTOS and ARINC-653; hands-on with COTS solutions (e.g., VxWorks 653, PikeOS, Green Hills Integrity, DEOS)
- In-depth DO-178C and DO-330 familiarity; Python for automation; JSON/XML data handling
