Experteer Overview
In this role you influence the early design and constructability of Amazon data centers across the EMEA region. You will align Real Estate, Design Engineering and Construction to develop cost-effective, schedule-driven pre-construction outcomes and set general design standards. You’ll guide complex, cross-functional projects from site selection through permitting and contract execution, shaping scalable, high-quality documentation. Your work helps deliver innovative, reliable data center infrastructure at scale, with a focus on safety, efficiency and sustainability. You will lead and mentor teams, driving accountability and clear decisions to unblock progress and protect project value.

• Review and input into global standards and data center template designs
• Independently support and manage complex, cross-functional Data Center projects from site selection to contract execution
• Drive scope control, timely decisions, blocker clearance, and escalation when needed
• Collaborate with internal and external teams (Real Estate, Design Engineering, Construction, Finance, architects, engineers, permitting bodies,



developers, landlords) to secure resources and priorities
• Conduct negotiations with general contractors; evaluate bids/proposals and participate in pricing reviews
• Evaluate due diligence, schedule tracking, and address factors impacting project handover
• Uphold high standards, drive accountability, and coach/discipline as required
• Represent AWS to ensure on-time, on-budget project execution and continually improve processes, costs, quality, Hu0026S, and sustainability

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 7+ years negotiating with general contractors and evaluating bids with detail and accuracy
• 7+ years in mission critical facilities (design, pre-construction, scheduling, construction and commissioning) or equivalent
• 5+ years construction site management
• Knowledge of safety, quality standards and local regulations with client-facing experience
• Strong communication with frontline and executive stakeholders
