About the Role Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Engineer to join their team in a fully remote capacity, contributing to their security operations and infrastructure development. You will leverage your expertise to tackle complex security challenges, automate security processes, and ensure the highest level of protection against evolving cyber threats. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage advanced security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools. Automate security workflows and processes using scripting languages (e.G., Python, Power Shell) and infrastructure-as-code tools. Conduct thorough security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests, providing actionable remediation recommendations. Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline (Dev Sec Ops ). Lead incident response efforts for complex security breaches,



performing deep-dive analysis and coordinating remediation activities. Mentor junior security engineers and contribute to the team's knowledge base and best practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field; advanced degrees or equivalent experience are highly valued. Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in information security engineering or a similar role. Proven expertise in network security, cloud security architecture, and application security. Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and experience with automation tools (e.G., Ansible, Terraform). Deep understanding of threat landscapes, attack methodologies, and defensive strategies. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
