Overview of verification and validation tasks for the modelling of occluders and devices,



in coordination with other partners of the project.

Development and validation of multiphysics simulations to model blood flow patterns in the left atria, together with the associated therapies with devices and drugs. xcskxlj

The candidate will need to develop and validate computational models to simulate haemodynamics in the left atria of atrial fibrillation patients to estimate the risk of thrombus formation before and after the implantation of occluder devices (with different settings) and the administration of anticoagulants (with different doses).
