Overview

In this role you will shape the visual and interaction foundations of Stripe’s products within Sail, Stripe’s UI platform. You will contribute to components, patterns, and design guidance, working with engineers and other designers. You will help translate designs into production interfaces by collaborating with front‑end engineers and contributing to Figma libraries and documentation. You will gather feedback from product teams to iterate and refine. This is an opportunity to influence scalable design systems at a general payments platform and to work on meaningful, cross‑product design problems.

Responsabilidades

- Design and refine UI components, patterns, and foundations for Stripe products
- Create polished interfaces across interaction states, themes, and responsive layouts
- Partner with front-end engineers to understand constraints and implement designs in production
- Contribute to Figma libraries, prototypes,

- Gather input from product teams, share work, and iterate based on feedback

Requisitos principales

- 2+ years of experience designing digital products
- A portfolio demonstrating strong visual design craft
- Experience using or contributing to a design system or component library
- Experience working with front-end engineers
- Understanding of components, states, and responsive behavior
- Experience using AI tools in day-to-day design work, with familiarity with large language models, agents, and reusable workflows
