The selected person will join the Vascular and Renal Translational Research Group within the line of research to identify factors involved in the acceleration of atherosclerosis and vascular calcification in chronic kidney disease and will provide services in the framework of the European research project funded under the ERA Permed call PP10919: 'Calprotectin as a new companion biomarker and associated drug target for premature vascular aging in chronic kidney disease and type 2 diabetes'

Some of the tasks to be carried out are:

- To carry out vascular qualification models in experimental animals and the participation of the calprotectin protein in them will be studied.
- Perform calprotectin determinations in samples from patients in the NEFRONA study.

- Research experience in vascular calcification
