With a significant workforce and operations spanning multiple European markets, the business is investing in the development of a more consistent, competitive and commercially sustainable approach to benefits and global mobility. This is a newly defined and highly visible role within the Global Rewards Centre of Excellence, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced benefits and mobility professional to shape the organisation’s global proposition. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Total Rewards, you will take ownership of the programmes that sit alongside base pay, spanning employee benefits, recognition and international mobility. The environment is international, fast-paced and evolving, with a strong emphasis on innovation, commerciality and employee experience. You will work across multiple markets, partnering closely with Reward, HR, Finance, Legal and Tax colleagues, as well as external brokers, vendors and mobility providers. This is a broad role combining strategic design, governance and vendor management with hands-on delivery.Reporting into the Global Head of Total Rewards, you will lead the development and harmonisation of the organisation’s benefits offering across its operating markets. This will include health and life insurance, pension and retirement arrangements, fleet and car policies, and wider ancillary benefits. You will assess current provision, identify gaps and develop a clear benefits philosophy that balances market competitiveness, internal equity, employee experience and cost. Alongside benefits, you will own the global mobility policy and governance framework for international assignments and permanent cross-border moves. Operational delivery is supported by an external mobility provider, allowing this role to focus on policy, governance, escalations, exceptions and the overall quality and cost-effectiveness of the programme.Key responsibilities include:Leading the harmonisation of benefits across multiple international markets, including health, life, pension, retirement, fleet and car arrangementsConducting regular benefits benchmarking and gap analysis to assess market competitiveness and internal consistencyDeveloping a clear global benefits philosophy and broader Total Reward propositionDesigning and proposing improvements to benefits programmes,



balancing employee experience with commercial and cost considerationsEnsuring benefits arrangements remain compliant with relevant local legislationOwning relationships with integral and local benefits vendors and brokers, from RFP and selection through to contract negotiation and performance reviewDriving cost optimisation across the benefits portfolio, monitoring expenditure and identifying opportunities to improve valuePartnering with Finance on benefits budgeting, forecasting and cost reportingManaging benefits platforms and enrolment tools to support a seamless employee experienceDesigning and managing employee recognition programmes, including peer recognition, milestone awards and long-service initiativesOwning the global mobility policy and governance framework for international assignments and permanent cross-border movesManaging policy decisions, escalations and exceptions relating to approximately 20 international moves each yearPartnering with Legal and Tax on assignment structures, shadow payroll and host-country complianceMaintaining robust policy documentation, governance frameworks and audit-ready recordsCollaborating with Reward Technology colleagues to improve benefits data, reporting and will bring broad global benefits and mobility experience, ideally gained within a complex, multinational organisation operating across several European markets. You will be comfortable moving between strategic design and hands-on delivery, with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders and the commercial judgement to balance employee needs with cost discipline.Experience and capabilities will include:At least five years’ experience across global benefits and/or mobility (benefits preferred)Experience working across multiple European marketsDemonstrable experience of benefits harmonisation, ideally within an M&A;, integration or organisational transformation environmentExperience governing a integral mobility programme, including assignment policy, tax considerations and vendor managementA strong track record of managing vendor RFPs, commercial negotiations and ongoing supplier performanceFamiliarity with benefits technology platforms and enrolment toolsStrong commercial acumen and the ability to assess the cost and value of benefits programmesA data-led approach to benchmarking,



reporting and measuring return on investmentThe ability to navigate different legal, regulatory and cultural environmentsExcellent relationship management, communication and negotiation skillsThe ability to explain complex benefits and mobility matters clearly to a range of stakeholdersAn innovative and forward-looking mindset, including an interest in how AI and emerging technology can improve the Reward function.This is predominately a benefits role but if the candidate brings experience and/or qualifications in global mobility matters then this is highly advantageous. Fluent English is essential, and an additional European language, particularly French, Dutch, Polish or Spanish, would be beneficial.This is an excellent opportunity to join a business where benefits and mobility are becoming increasingly important components of the global people agenda.
