At Empresarios Agrupados GHESA (EAG), we are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join our Madrid headquarters and support the successful delivery of complex engineering and EPC projects in Spain and internationally.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-value industrial and energy projects, playing a key part in protecting the company's interests through effective contract management, risk mitigation, change management, and claims strategy throughout the project lifecycle.

What will you do?

As Contract Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Leading the contractual management of assigned projects.
- Reviewing and analyzing engineering services, EPC contracts, subcontracts, and related agreements.
- Supporting Project Directors and Project Managers in defining and implementing contractual strategies.
- Advising project teams on contract interpretation and assessing contractual impacts on project execution.
- Identifying, assessing, and monitoring contractual risks, opportunities, and deviations.
- Managing change orders, Extension of Time (EOT) requests, claims, and other contractual events.
- Drafting and managing contractual correspondence with clients, partners, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Supporting dispute avoidance and resolution activities in coordination with the Legal Department.
- Monitoring guarantees, bonds, and insurance obligations under project contracts.
- Preparing contractual reports, KPIs, and management updates.
- Supporting contract close-out activities and lessons learned processes.
- Assisting bid and commercial teams with contractual reviews during tender and proposal stages.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of contract management processes, templates, tools,



and digitalization initiatives.

What are we looking for?

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Experience:

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Contract Manager in complex industrial engineering services and/or EPC projects.
- Strong background in contract administration, claims management, change orders, EOTs, and contractual risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex contractual documentation and develop strategies that protect company interests.
- Experience working in international and multidisciplinary project environments.
- Experience administering national and international contracts.
- Knowledge of FIDIC contracts or other internationally recognized contractual frameworks will be highly valued.

This position is based at our Madrid headquarters. Availability for occasional travel to construction sites, client facilities, and project locations, both nationally and internationally, is required.
