Overview

In this role you bridge Caravelo’s core platform with each airline’s unique setup. You translate customer requirements into production-ready configurations, extensions and integrations, building a dedicated customer plugin while preserving a clean, scalable foundation. You work closely with project managers and stakeholders to make each rollout feel bespoke. You solve cross-system integration challenges and guide migrations, enabling successful live deployments and ongoing stability. This is a hands-on, problem-solving position in a fast-moving, AI-assisted engineering environment.

Responsabilidades

- Understand customer requirements with the Project Manager and translate them into concrete implementations
- Configure and extend the Caravelo platform using provided capabilities
- Build and maintain customer plugins containing logic and integrations
- Take implementations through development, testing, launch and production stabilisation




- Investigate and debug production issues and maintain customer-specific integrations
- Upgrade connectors as external systems evolve and support migrations
- Diagnose complex problems across Caravelo and customer ecosystems
- Work across the stack (backend, APIs, data migrations, and occasional frontend)
- Leverage AI-assisted development to accelerate implementation while maintaining engineering judgment

Requisitos principales

- Strong experience building production software in Java
- Experience designing and integrating APIs, distributed services and cloud-based systems
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across multiple systems
- Good understanding of testing, CI/CD, databases, observability and production quality
- Comfortable extending an existing platform rather than rebuilding from scratch
- Strong communication with Project Managers, engineers and customer stakeholders
